Delivery & Return

Delivery & Returns Policy

At FurnitureRetailer.co.uk, we aim to provide a smooth, reliable and transparent shopping experience. Please review our delivery and returns information before placing your order.

1. Delivery Areas & Charges

We offer free standard delivery to most eligible UK mainland addresses.

Additional charges may apply to remote locations, including certain areas of Scotland, Northern Ireland, offshore islands and restricted postcodes.

Any additional delivery charges will be confirmed before your order is accepted.

2. Delivery Times

Our estimated delivery times are:

  • In-stock products: 2–4 working days

  • Pre-order or made-to-order products: Approximately 6–12 weeks

  • Special-order products: As specified on the product page

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on product availability and location.

We will contact you to confirm delivery arrangements. Unless otherwise agreed, orders will normally be delivered within 30 days of acceptance.

3. Preparing for Delivery

Before ordering, please ensure:

  • Your delivery address and contact details are correct.

  • Furniture fits through doorways, hallways and staircases.

  • Suitable access and parking are available.

  • A responsible adult (18+) is available to receive the delivery.

Additional charges may apply for failed deliveries, re-delivery or specialist delivery arrangements where appropriate and agreed.

Please inspect your order upon arrival and report any damage, missing items or incorrect products as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours. This does not affect your statutory rights.

4. Returns & Cancellations

You can normally cancel an eligible online purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing a reason.

After notifying us of cancellation, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Products should be properly protected, complete and handled only as reasonably necessary to inspect them.

We may make an appropriate deduction for loss of value caused by excessive handling.

5. Return & Collection Charges

For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for direct return costs.

For larger furniture, collection may be arranged where available. Costs depend on the product and collection location and will be communicated before purchase.

If your product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, we will cover reasonable return or collection costs.

6. Non-Returnable Items

Change-of-mind cancellation rights may not apply to:

  • Bespoke or made-to-measure furniture

  • Clearly personalised products

  • Products manufactured to individual customer specifications

These exclusions do not affect your statutory rights for faulty or incorrectly described products.

7. Faulty or Damaged Products

All products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

If an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us promptly with your order number and supporting photographs where possible.

Depending on your statutory rights, we may offer a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Customers may have a legal right to reject faulty goods within 30 days, with additional rights available thereafter.

8. Refunds

Eligible refunds will include the product price and applicable standard delivery charges, in accordance with UK consumer law.

Refunds will normally be processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods or acceptable evidence of return, using the original payment method.

For change-of-mind returns, reasonable deductions may apply where the goods have been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect them.
